And he said to them, “Don’t be afraid. You will all have peace; but bless God forever.
For I came not of any favor of my own, but by the will of your God. Therefore bless him forever.
All these days I appeared to you. I didn’t eat or drink, but you all saw a vision.
Now give God thanks, because I ascend to him that sent me. Write in a book all the things which have been done.”
Then they rose up, and saw him no more.
I exalt my God. My soul exalts the King of heaven, and rejoices in his greatness.
Many nations will come from afar to the name of the Lord God with gifts in their hands, even gifts to the King of heaven. Generations of generations will praise you, and sing songs of rejoicing.
Oh blessed are those who love you. They will rejoice for your peace. Blessed are all those who sorrowed for all your scourges; because they will rejoice for you when they have seen all your glory. They will be made glad forever.
For Jerusalem will be built with sapphires, emeralds, and precious stones; your walls and towers and battlements with pure gold.
The streets of Jerusalem will be paved with beryl, carbuncle, and stones of Ophir.
All her streets will say, “Hallelujah!” and give praise, saying, “Blessed be God, who has exalted you forever!”
They departed from the way of their parents, and worshipped the God of heaven, the God whom they knew. Their parents cast them out from the face of their gods, and they fled into Mesopotamia, and sojourned there many days.
“O Lord God of heaven, behold their arrogance, and pity the low estate of our race. Look upon the face of those who are sanctified to you this day.”
We take to witness against you the heaven and the earth, and our God and the Lord of our fathers, who punishes us according to our sins and the sins of our fathers. Do what we have said today!”
Yes, yes, God of my father, and God of the inheritance of Israel, Lord of the heavens and of the earth. Creator of the waters, King of every creature, hear my prayer.
For he created all things that they might have being: And the generative powers of the world are healthsome, And there is no poison of destruction in them: Nor has Hades royal dominion upon earth,
But the souls of the righteous are in the hand of God, And no torment will touch them.
In the eyes of the foolish they seemed to have died; And their departure was accounted to be their hurt,
And their journeying away from us to be their ruin: But they are in peace.
And in the time of their visitation they will shine forth, And as sparks among stubble they will run to and fro.
They will judge nations, and have dominion over peoples; And the Lord will reign over them for evermore.
And happy is the eunuch which has wrought no lawless deed with his hands, Nor imagined wicked things against the Lord; For there will be given him for his faithfulness a peculiar favor, And a lot in the sanctuary of the Lord more delightsome than wife or children.
Better than this is childishness with virtue; For in the memory of virtue is immortality: Because it is recognized both before God and before men.
But a righteous man, though he die before his time, will be at rest.
Being found well-pleasing to God he was beloved of him, And while living among sinners he was translated:
Being made perfect in a little while, he fulfilled long years;
For his soul was pleasing to the Lord: Therefore hurried he out of the midst of wickedness.
But a righteous man that is dead will condemn the ungodly that are living, And youth that is quickly perfected the many years of an unrighteous man’s old age;
How was he counted among sons of God? And how is his lot among saints?
But the righteous live forever, And in the Lord is their reward, And the care for them with the Most High.
Therefore will they receive the crown of royal dignity And the diadem of beauty from the Lord’s hand; Because with his right hand will he cover them, And with his arm will he shield them.
For she is fairer than the sun, And above all the constellations of the stars: Being compared with light, she is found to be before it;
She glorifieth her noble birth in that it is given her to live with God, And the Sovereign Lord of all loved her.
You gave command to build a sanctuary in your holy mountain, And an altar in the city of your habitation, A copy of the holy tabernacle which you prepared beforehand from the beginning.
Send her forth out of the holy heavens, And from the throne of your glory bid her come, That being present with me she may toil with me, And that I may learn what is well-pleasing before you.
And hardly do we divine the things that are on earth, And the things that are close at hand we find with labor; But the things that are in the heavens who ever yet traced out?
Instead whereof you gave your people angels’ food to eat, And bread ready for their use did you provide for them from heaven without their toil, Bread having the virtue of every pleasant savor, And agreeing to every taste;
Your all-powerful word leaped from heaven out of the royal throne, A stern warrior, into the midst of the doomed land,
Bearing as a sharp sword your unfeigned commandment; And standing it filled all things with death; And while it touched the heaven it trode upon the earth.
The height of the heaven, and the breadth of the earth, And the deep, and wisdom, who shall search them out?
Whoso fears the Lord, it will go well with him at the last, And in the day of his death he will be blessed.
And he that gives glory to his mother is as one that lays up treasure.
He that holds her fast will inherit glory; And where he enters, the Lord will bless.
He will inherit joy, and a crown of gladness, And an everlasting name.
Behold, the heaven, and the heaven of heavens, The deep, and the earth, will be moved when he shall visit.
Their eyes saw the majesty of his glory; And their ear heard the glory of his voice.
He looks upon the power of the height of heaven: And all men are earth and ashes.
I lived in high places, And my throne is in the pillar of the cloud.
Alone I compassed the circuit of heaven, And walked in the depth of the abyss.
The offering of the righteous makes the altar fat; And the sweet savor thereof is before the Most High.
He that serves God according to his good pleasure shall be accepted, And his supplication shall reach to the clouds.
The prayer of the humble pierces the clouds; And till it come near, he will not be comforted; And he will not depart, till the Most High shall visit; And he shall judge righteously, and execute judgement.
The pride of the height is the firmament in its clearness, The appearance of heaven, in the spectacle of its glory.
The month is called after her name, Increasing wonderfully in her changing; An instrument of the army on high, Shining forth in the firmament of heaven;
The beauty of heaven, the glory of the stars, An ornament giving light in the highest places of the Lord.
It encircles the heaven round about with a circle of glory; The hands of the Most High have stretched it.
By reason thereof the treasure-houses are opened; And clouds fly forth as fowls.

great, and has none end; high, and unmeasurable.
Who has gone up into heaven, and taken her, and brought her down from the clouds?
For God will show your brightness to every region under heaven.
Moreover the woods and every sweet smelling tree have overshadowed Israel by the commandment of God.
neither can they show signs in the heavens among the nations, nor shine as the sun, nor give light as the moon.
to whom you did promise, that you would multiply their seed as the stars of heaven, and as the sand that is upon the sea shore.
But the angel of the Lord came down into the furnace together with Azarias and his fellows, and he struck the flame of the fire out of the furnace;
and made the midst of the furnace as it had been a moist whistling wind, so that the fire touched them not at all, neither hurt nor troubled them.
Blessed are you in the temple of your holy glory: and to be praised and glorified above all forever.

O you⌃ lightnings and clouds, bless you⌃ the Lord: praise and exalt him above all forever.
O all you⌃ fowls of the air, bless you⌃ the Lord: praise and exalt him above all forever.
O you⌃ spirits and souls of the righteous, bless you⌃ the Lord: praise and exalt him above all forever.
And they perverted their own mind, and turned away their eyes, that they might not look to heaven, nor remember just judgements.
And she weeping looked up toward heaven: for her heart trusted in the Lord.
And he said, Because I may not do honor to idols made with hands, but to the living God, who has created the heaven and the earth, and has sovereignty over all flesh.
saying, Let us die all in our innocency: heaven and earth witness over us, that you⌃ put us to death without trial.
Elijah, for that he was exceeding zealous for the law, was taken up into heaven.
And Judas said, It is an easy thing for many to be shut up in the hands of a few; and with heaven it is all one, to save by many or by few:
